Blue Tit

 Perhaps the most familiar tit found in Britain, the Blue Tit is a vibrant little bird with a blue head and a yellow breast.

  Great Tit

 Slightly larger than the Blue Tit, the Great Tit has a bold black stripe down its yellow breast.

  Coal Tit

 Smaller than the Blue Tit, the Coal Tit is a delightful little bird with a black cap and white cheeks.

  Marsh Tit

 Another small tit, the Marsh Tit has a brown head and a white bib. Marsh Tits are shyer than other tit species and prefer woodlands to gardens.

  Willow Tit

  Similar to the Marsh Tit, the Willow Tit is slightly smaller and has a buff wash to its underparts.

  Crested Tit

 Crested Tit: The Crested Tit is instantly recognizable by its dramatic, spiky crest. Crested Tits are shy birds, preferring pine forests to gardens

  Long-tailed Tit

 The UK's longest tit, the Long-tailed Tit is a slender bird with a very long tail.

  Bearded Tit

Not technically a tit (it belongs to a different family), the Bearded Tit is a charismatic bird found in reedbeds.
